A community gathered around AI
I had the opportunity to attend IndabaX Benin 2026. The event brought together curious people, students, researchers and professionals who share an interest in understanding and advancing artificial intelligence across the African continent.
Learning from others
Beyond the technical content, the event reminded me of the value of direct exchange. Discussing journeys, projects and concrete challenges helps put our own learning into perspective and look beyond today's tools.
What I take away
I leave with an even stronger desire to build in machine learning and keep learning with the community. To me, gatherings like IndabaX matter as much as practice: they provide context, ideas and connections for growing useful projects.
